Validating transfers
Any team is free to transfer from any EU country that is affiliated and subject to EMF regulations.
Transfers from Romania
Transfers from Romania are accepted, respecting the conditions imposed by the Romanian Minifootball Federation. These include:
- transfer agreement between the team from which the player is being transferred (manager’s signature and contact details);
- agreement and information of the local organiser (local organiser’s signature and contact details);
- the signature and contact details of the organiser of the competition to which the player transfers.
It is also necessary to prove that the Romanian Minifootball Federation has been informed and agrees to fulfil all the transfer conditions by presenting an official signed and initiated document or an official confirmation e-mail.
Players who played at Socca
Players who have played in Socca for different national or club teams in the last 12 months but who participate in the 5PLUS1 UK MINIFOOTBALL 5PLUS1 MINIFOOTBALL competitions are eligible to play as this is considered a domestic competition.
WMF/EMF international regulations do not have restrictions for domestic championships, only international (national teams and club teams).
In the case of a team qualifying for European tournaments, if the team includes players who have played in the last 12 months for Socca, these players do not have the right to play in international competitions organised by EMF/WMF

Each team is only allowed one VAR request per half. VAR will only be used for four situations that can change the outcome of a match:
- Goal / No goal;
- Penalty decisions;
- Direct red card incidents;
- Mistaken identity.
After using the VAR requirement, if there is another controversial phase, it can only be checked by the referee for four situations that can change the outcome of a match:
- Goal / No goal;
- Penalty decisions;
- Direct red card incidents;
- Mistaken identity.
If any kind of offence is committed in the build-up to a goal, such as a hint, a foul in attack or a foul on the goalkeeper, etc., the referee should be invited to VAR to review the decision.
If the VAR requirement is not used by a team in the first half, it does not carry over to the second half.

The competitive season 2023-2024 has brought changes to the participation rules previously presented to the teams, concerning the validation of players participating in the tournaments organised by 5PLUS1 UK MINIFOOTBALL under the aegis of the English Minifootball Federation – GB Union Minifootball.
As a result, it was forbidden to use players from the Romanian minifootball championships without a transfer registered with the Romanian Minifootball Federation, after all the necessary steps for its validation (signatures, approvals, fees paid) have been completed. In this context, two players were validated: Iordan Cristian and Florentin Mândrilă.
In order to better inform all participants, we have decided to open the official 5PLUS1 UK MINIFOOTBALL website by the end of this season. With this press release, we explain how the two transfers have been made and how teams can bring players from other leagues in Europe (if applicable).
Following discussions with the organisers of the teams participating throughout the 2023-2024 competitive season, we have decided the following:
- Presentation of how to validate transfers;
- Setting up the website to better inform participants. It will contain:
- International regulations
- rules of the 5PLUS1 UK MINIFOOTBALL competition
